Service & repairs

Pump servicing and repairs across Sydney

Fault finding, servicing and repairs for pump systems on residential, strata and commercial sites.

Overview

About this service

A pump that has stopped, keeps tripping or has started making new noises rarely fixes itself. Finding the cause early usually means a smaller repair and less time without water, pressure or drainage.

Fusion Pumps was established in 2014 to service the pump industry. We service and repair pressure and booster pumps, hot water circulation pumps, sewage and stormwater pumps and pump stations for homes, strata buildings and commercial sites across Sydney.

Our technicians include qualified plumbers, mechanical fitters and electricians, so the pump, its controls and its electrical supply can be diagnosed together. If a pump is no longer worth repairing, we will tell you and set out the replacement options.

When to call us

The signs that point to this service.

  • The pump will not start

A pump that hums without turning, trips the circuit breaker or does nothing at all should be checked before it is reset again.

  • New noise or vibration

Grinding, rattling or a high-pitched whine can point to worn bearings, a damaged impeller or a pump running dry.

  • Water around the pump

Weeping from around the shaft or casing is often a worn mechanical seal, and it tends to get worse rather than better.

  • It runs constantly or keeps cycling

A pump that will not switch off, or starts and stops over and over, is working harder than it should and wearing faster.
